railings

I know it may be an unpopular viewpoint, and I do love these railings… but I do still miss the lego men. I wish I’d had the cash spare to buy one when the council was flogging them on ebay. Although goodness knows where I could have stored it….

I’ve never heard this tale from anything I’d consider to be a reliable source (“someone I used to see in the pub” and “the internet” don’t count). I find it hilarious and want it to be true but at the same time… well, it’s OK for Geordies to take the mick out of Geordies. But noone else, OK?!

monumentmall

This spot just doesn’t seem to be all that successful – nothing there seems to last very long. I’ve no idea why – it seems like a great location on Northumberland Street, next to Fenwicks, on the way if you’re going to Monument. It’ll be interesting to see whether the newly redeveloped mall is any more successful with this space….

I think this is pussy willow? Nice to see things finally starting to grow. It feels like spring is extremely late this year.

On the days when the sky is this shade of blue, I can almost believe that spring is FINALLY on the way…..
