South Gosforth Interchange

This is the metro interchange at South Gosforth. I was on a metro earlier this week and discovered that the new information boards are now in use! They tell you what the next stop is, and the information is recorded and played too – no driver announcements any more, which makes me sad.

I’ve never seen a lake with so many swans on it. I’m quite amazed that there’s not a single one in this shot.

I had no idea that this building looked so lovely until my sister’s boyfriend came up to Newcastle to do a course there and we took him to the building.

The building is used now as the Culture Lab. Apparently the course was pretty good.

H&M vs Bookseller

I noticed this a couple of months back, that you can see where it used to say ‘BOOKSELLER’ behind the H&M letters.

I wish it was still a bookseller.
