A month since I started driving a taxi for a living and  all I can say is..”Im knackered”!! Its very tiring work and although Im not earning enough money(yet) I am enjoying it.The ‘data head’ shows what area I am in,when in line I am for the next job(1st in this instance),and the time(among other things). And you thought all cab drivers sat around an office drinking tea?

aug 30 2006.jpg I know this is in church grounds but I still think 500 pound fine is a bit excessive. I think the pigeon must have left its blades at home on this day!

(no doubt Ad and Apple will have a field day with this pic? *smiles*)

Old Eldon Square used to have 3 sides that looked like this.Sorry to say that this is the only block left from that era.Two sides are part of a modern shopping centre and the 4th side is the street.

One of my favorite singers played in town last week.BJS, is a contemporary of Willie Nelson,Johhny Cash and Kris Kristofferson. He is better known as a songwriter but even in his 70′s he can still sing and perform.

Sorry this just shows the art from the last 2 days from a different angle but I have been so busy with work that I havnt had much time to take photos. Also I thought it would be good to show you the position of these to the general area. Of course, to the left you can see the millenium brige and the Sage building.

A few yards from the globe is this striking tower made of,what looks like scrap metal.Again ,lots of references to the sea.
